Project Engineer (Element Project Integrator-Mobile Launch Platform) (1 position)

  • Create and maintain ML ERD
  • Provide technical input to CEV and CLV to GS ICDs
  • Generate verification requirements (including Cradle input)
  • Maintain CM element level technical / requirements / design baseline
  • Provide detailed design / requirements guidance to Level 5
  • Provide PDR and CDR support, analysis, and assessment
  • Provide subsystem 30/60/90 design support, analysis, and assessment
  • Evaluate Level 5 projects for compliance to identified requirements / constraints; Identify project impacts
  • Provide test, verification, validation, and activation support, analysis and assessment
  • Perform risk identification and mitigation
  • Identify and recommend process improvements
  • Minimum Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in systems, industrial, mechanical, electrical or software engineering or the equivalent plus 6 years experience.

    Project Engineer (Program Management support) (3 positions)

  • Perform EVM input / assessment
  • Perform schedule analysis on Level 5 projects / provide integrated schedule assessment
  • Evaluate Level 5 projects for impacts to project level cost / schedule targets
  • Identify new, or emerging, requirements and assess for cost, schedule, and technical impacts
  • Perform risk assessments for new / unfunded requirements; capture in Risk Database
  • Assist in PPB&E preparation submits; validate basis of estimates with project sources (NE, UB, PH, etc.)
  • Support project requirements / design / authorization reviews (PDR, CDR, etc)
  • Review project SOWs, bid packages, vendor documentation
  • Support GSCB, LX - D PMR
  • Minimum Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in systems, industrial, mechanical, electrical or software engineering or the equivalent plus 6 years experience.

    Project Engineer (Construction Management)(1 position)

  • Requires knowledge and experience in facility construction management and field engineering management.
  • Knowledge of GSS and GSE acquisition/fabrication contracts/contract support is required.
  • Understanding of NASA Construction of Facilities (CoF) requirements and environmental activities and tasks is required. This
  • Will require support to the overall field engineering activities associated with construction and modification of facilities, and installation of GSE.
  • Work includes review of construction schedules, installation schedules, and activation/validation schedules for feasibility and traceability.
  • Includes providing status reports on all activities.
  • Knowledge of procurement package preparation and tracking contractor fabrication, contract changes, acceptance testing (coordination and tracking), field office support, and field engineering problem resolution assistance are required.

    Requirements Engineer(1 position)

  • Support REQUIREMENTS ANALYSIS including, eliciting, analyzing, recording and tracking of program or project technical requirements.
  • Able to think abstractly and work at high-levels of abstraction (i.e., able to work with REQUIREMENTS without being drawn into the details of design and implementation decisions.)
  • Able to successfully manage the multiple concurrent issues, ambiguities, and contradictions that typically occur during REQUIREMENTS ENGINEERING.
  • Flexible when confronted with evolving goals and requirements.
  • FAMILIARITY WITH DOORs or CRADLE REQUIREMENTS TOOLS AND DATABASES.
  • Minimum Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in systems, industrial, mechanical, electrical or software engineering or the equivalent plus 1 year actual experience on requirements team
