- May 2008 – PAI is very pleased to announce that the Florida Association of Public Purchasing Officers (FAPPO) has awarded our client, the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority the 2008 Best Practices Award for the innovative use of PAI’s discrete event modeling and simulation tools toward process improvement efficiencies for the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority’s Purchasing Department. The award recognizes innovative efforts within the State of Florida designed to provide improved service or cost savings to an organization, as well as for efforts that effectively serve the community and its constituents. Approximately an eight month project, PAI delivered ‘PurchaSIM’ to the Aviation Authority in February 2008.
- April 2008 – PAI is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a follow-on subcontract by Science Applications Information Corporation (SAIC) to provide modeling, simulation and analysis services in support of operations at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.
- Feb. 2008 - PAI is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a sub-contract by Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), utilizing PAI’s unique tools and capabilities to provide modeling, simulation and analysis services.
- October 2007 - PAI is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract by the Walt Disney Company to provide simulation, modeling and analysis services in support of Disney Magical Express operations in Orlando FL.
- October 4, 2007 - PAI is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract by Universal Studios in Orlando Florida to provide modeling and simulation support tools and services.
- September 2007 - PAI is pleased to announce that Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company (LMSSC) in Denver Colorado has awarded PAI a contract to develop and provide ground operations modeling and simulation tools in support of Lockheed Martin's development of NASA’s Orion Exploration Vehicle. The work will be performed at PAI’s Orlando facility. The contract value is approximately $2 million dollars.
- August 2007 – PAI is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a follow on contract by NASA to provide enhancement of PAI’s Exploration Launch and Landing Analysis (ELLA) tool suite. ELLA provides NASA enhanced analysis capability regarding ground operations requirements for the processing, launch and recovery of future manned space vehicles.
- July 2007 - PAI is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract by the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA), through general consultant ShenkelShultz, for the purpose of modeling the GOAA purchasing department's process flow. The objective of this project is to discover and evaluate opportunities for enhancing the purchasing department's value delivery system as part of GOAA's ongoing continuous process improvement efforts.
- May 31 2007 - PAI is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract by the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA), through OIA's General Consultant Shenkel Shultz, for the purpose of modeling and simulating the functional capacity of the airports stand alone baggage screening machines. According to PAI president Mike Callinan this capability builds on PAI's previous work with the Orlando International Airport (OIA), and integrates with existing models supporting passenger and baggage process planning.
- May 30 2007 - PAI is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract by Lockheed Martin's Simulation Training and Support Company to utilize PAI's data mining capabilities.
- April 30, 2007 – PAI is pleased to announce two recent contract awards from Lockheed Martin Simulation Training and Support Company and the IBM Corporation. These separate contracts leverage PAI's unique data mining, modeling, and simulation capability for the development of tools, analysis, and management decision support. Through these awards PAI maintains its focus on providing relevant, understandable, scientific analysis to assist companies in maximizing value and return on investment.
- April 29, 2007 - PAI is pleased to announce that the Harris Corporation in Melbourne FL has purchased copies of PAI's proprietary 'Ariana' software tool. Ariana is used to accelerate the development and analysis of discrete event simulation models.
- February 14, 2007 - PAI is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract by the Boeing Company for development of a predictive tool based upon PAI’s unique data mining tools and capabilities.
- November 30, 2006 - PAI is pleased to announce that it has been accepted for membership in the Airport Consultants Council. The ACC interacts directly with FAA, TSA and airport agency officials on the most pressing issues facing the aviation industry.
- November 24, 2006 - PAI is pleased to announce that it was selected by EADS-North American Defense to provide consulting services related to Performance Based Logistics support for the EADS-NA Jet Engine Test Instrumentation suite.
- October 1, 2006 - Productivity Apex, Inc. (PAI) is pleased to announce that the U.S. Department of Transportation has awarded a contract to provide technology assessment study for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCA) to a team consisting of DELCAN Corporation, PAI, Cheval Research, and ICF. Under this contract, PAI will provide modeling and simulation tools and services to assess the impact of both current and emergent technologies upon the freight carrier segment of the transportation industry. According to company president, Mike Callinan, this award is directly related to PAI’s previous highly successful efforts working directly with the DOT Federal HighWay Administration (FHWA).
- August 9, 2006 - NASA has awarded PAI a follow-on contract for the Earth to Orbit Supply Chain Simulation project. This project was competitively selected in 2004 as part of the Exploration Broad Area Announcement (BAA). Phase 1 spanned May 2005 to March 2006. Continuation beyond year 1 (Phase 1) was approved as of April 2006 and incorporates tenets of the Exploration Systems Architecture Study (ESAS) 2005. The value of the award is $1.5M.
- July 17, 2006 - Productivity Apex principals receive NASA software award for the development of the Space Shuttle Simulation Model.
- July 12, 2006 - PAI is pleased to announce that Dr. Sam Fayez, PAI's Director of Supply Chain Solutions, has been elected to the Supply Chain Council's Technical Development Steering Committee (TDSC). The TDSC is comprised of the elected body of Supply-Chain Council Members and the Chief Technology Officer, and is charged with the maintenance, management, and evolution of the Supply-Chain Operations Reference-model (SCOR) and related technical efforts associated with advancing the formalized body of knowledge within the Council.
